Wow, what a couple of weeks it has been. We have been flat out here at Kerbute HQ creating some magic! Episode #1 of Tanya’s Gold Blend was a roaring success. We’re really proud of the project and we can’t wait to share more great music and video with you all.
Episode #2 doesn’t slow the pace at all. For this one Tanya got her hands on Dublin’s most loved ‘The Riptide Movement’. The track they played for us was kinda unorthodox for a rock group, and something the Riptide lads had worked on themselves; They threw out a left-of-centre version of Beyonce’s ‘Halo’! Just wait until you hear it.
In addition to the Riptide boys, Tanya also brought Brian Hogan (Kila, Preacher’s Son) on board for some lap steel goodness, and a funky brass section to fill out the edges. This was a full house by all accounts!

Here it is folks, the long awaited first episode of Tanya’s Gold Blend! And let me tell you, the series kicks off with a smash.
Tanya lined up the amazing talent that is Ryan Sheridan with a cover of Jeff Buckley’s ‘Everybody Here Wants You’, a rarely covered track (and even rarer do see it done justice).
She got him together with Artur Graczyk on drums (Ryan’s Band), Joe Leech from BiPolar Empire on backing vocals, Nicky Brennan on lead (also Ryan’s Band) and herself on bass duties. What an ensemble of talent!

According to their site: Arrow in the Sky ‘are a deuce of multi-instrumentalists, Conor McCauley and Brian Murphy’. They are a talented duo, wonderful to experience at a live gig, and we’ve done a bunch of videos with them to date. In fact they are the first music act we ever worked with way back when we first started!
They came to us with some lo-fi footage of themselves recording their EP ‘Winter’s Requiem’ in Temple Lane Studios from a while back. We used it to cut a music video for them for their track ‘Sombunall’.
Here’s the Trailer for ‘Tanya’s Gold Blend’, a web series we are developing with the talented Tanya O’Callaghan.
Tanya has put together a number of really exciting music sessions with some of Ireland’s top musical talent including Ryan Sheridan, Brian Kennedy, The Coronas, Preacher’s Son and The Riptide Movement to name but a few.
Happily, we were on hand to shoot the action and turn it all into a video web series!

Well here it is folks, our latest music video. This one’s for the rising stars (see what I did there?) The Laundry Shop and their new single ‘Overhead’.
Let me tell you, this was one fun shoot. The guys and gal in the band; Steve, Tanya and Jeff, are a total howl. Excellent bunch to work with and real pros. And wow, what a beautiful venue to work in eh? We honestly felt privileged to have the opportunity. If every shoot was like this one, we’d never ‘work a day in our lives’ as the saying goes.
Makeup was by the talented and exceptional Sara Tonin from CosmAddict. Check out her other work on Facebook, really Avant Garde and exciting stuff she’s doing.
Check it out and remember to Like, Follow & generally Share the Cr@ap out of it! This is a band that will go far.
